This week I ventured to Seahouses which is a small fishing village situated in Northumberland National Park on Englands North East Coast. Seahouses is a gateway to the Farne Islands. There are many boating companies that offer trips to witness the magnificence of the Islands from the various coastlines. You can even land on a couple for the Islands too.

Wildlife Photography Farne Islands – This time is very special for enthusiasts of the beautifully coloured bird that is the Puffin! In July their single egg has hatched and the chick needs feeding. Both the male and female puffin take turns bringing fish. The adults feed the chick fish for approximately 45 days. If you want to capture the iconic Puffin shot with the fish in its beak, you better be quick!

This is where the boat companies come into their own. They offer special trips to the Farne Islands for photographers and Wildlife enthusiasts alike.
