Photographing The Blue Hour, it’s the best time isn’t it?

This week I visited one of my favorite places for landscape photography, Honister in the Lake District. Photographing Lake Buttermere is a must for any local/ish photographer!

It’s the second time I’ve photographed there during the “Blue Hour”.
I don’t know why I seem to gravitate to Buttermere for the after dark pictures. Maybe it’s because of it’s geographic settings? It’s surrounded by mountains, and because of this, it’s not really a place suited to photograph during a sunrise or sunset. Having said that though, I had the most amazing sunset.

I make at least one video a week, and I’ve some amazing locations penned. Please make it worth my while and support the channel.
