Landscape Photography Ponies in the Wild

I captured this gorgeous Black & White of wild ponies whilst grazing close to the distant Llyn Ogwen lake. Grabbing this shot involved a little mountain climbing and a stealth-like approach to the ponies. This goes to prove that a little hard work very often pays dividends! Whilst these mystical wild ponies are actually owned by farmers they’re free to roam throughout their lives on the picturesque Welsh Mountains. Seeing them is one thing, getting close enough to photograph them is another!

I rated this as one of my favourite Images from North Wales this year.
