What a fantastic 5 days… The weather was iffy at times but nothing too serious. With a full diary of exploration ahead of us we set off bright a breezy Monday morning. I don’t have the time to go into every detail day by day but we managed to grab everything and still had time to make new discoveries. That’s the great thing about the Island.

  1. Stunning images I can currently only aspire to achieve.
I need more practice – just need to find my old box brownie and a dollop of talent.
Hope to be up to the task nxt year and join you for some super shots.

  2. Gary, what can I say, I’m an ex coach tour drive, I have been to Skye god knows how many time? I started taking photos sometime back and loved capturing wonderful scenes as you have. Now I have retired I take even more photos and hope to get close to your standards, with a bit of lucky. Can I say that your videos are magic, such an inspiration to me, the Lake District, Sunderland brill, but those on Skye are outstanding. I love to head way up past Ullapool, knockingrag Cory Stack area Achiltibuie, west highlands simply stunning.
Keep up the great work…glad your there.
    Best wishes
    Alec

  3. I think if you head up there again, you will be top of the list for a house. Your going to Skye on the 8th I’m off to Milan on the 11th, so looking forward to going back to Italy, u visited Tuscany in June, so off again for a week. Yes I visit your website, just watched the video on Malham, been there with my coach a few times, roads have a lot to be desired, but the scenery was outstanding. I don’t know if you have been up above Ullapool, the mountains are outstanding, I’m sure you would love it, I having up there in January for three days based in Inverness.
    Keep up the good wrork.
    Regards Alec
